Academic Certification

The CI Level 4 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching (VRQ) is approved by Ofqual as a UK level 4 regulated qualification. As a regulated qualification, it guarantees learners a high quality learning experience and employers, members of the public and others that the learner and IHS have reached the required standards.

The Level 6 Diploma in Nutritional Therapy is approved as a UK level 6 Self Regulated Qualification (SRQ), which means that is designed, delivered and awarded to the same quality standards as a regulated qualification, but is not regulated by Ofqual.

These qualifications have been awarded by Crossfields Institute (CI), an awarding organisation and education charity, based in England, specialising in the design, delivery and award of holistic and integrative qualifications in sectors including health and social care and child development. The Institute is regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) which regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland via Parliament.

Industry Recognition

Graduates of the CI Diploma in Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching can register with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and those based in the UK & Ireland, the UK Health Coaches Association as affiliate members.

Graduates of the Diploma in Nutritional Therapy can register with the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI), the only independent Nutritional Therapy association in Ireland. They can also register with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and Federation of Nutritional Therapists (FNTP). Graduates of this qualification can also apply to enrol onto the MSc or PG Diploma in Personalised Nutrition taught at CNELM (Wokingham, UK) upon graduation. This course is validated by Middlesex University as a 100% distance learning course. (Eligibility is subject to a letter of reference from IHS).

Short Course Recognition

Upon successful completion of our short and CPD courses, the learner receives an e-certificate of achievement from Crossfields Institute and the Institute of Health Sciences (downloadable from the course). They also receive a unit transcript, listing the details of the content completed.
