Recipe of the month – a healthy take on chocolate muffins
These chocolate muffins are easy to make and refined sugar free! Perfect for big and small kids alike, they can be enjoyed on the go or with a cup of tea - yum!
You will need
3 overripe bananas (mashed)
1 small pot plain yoghurt
1/4 cup good quality honey
1 and a half cups self-raising flour
2tbsp peanut butter
1tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1/3 cup dark cocoa powder / cacao
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips (optional)
Method
Pre-heat fan assisted oven to 170 degrees centigrade
Mix all ingredients together and spoon equal measures in to muffin cases or a muffin tin.
Cook for 15-20 mins until risen et voila!
